November and its FINALLY time to pick our sweet corn!
Well, what survived the hailstorm that is.
Natalie helping me pick corn.
Unfortunately, this is what the majority of the ears looked like.
(Drumroll please.......)
Here is my 2014 Sweet Corn Crop!
They all fit into one pot!
Sad.
Good thing we got our fair share of good stuff from NE earlier on in the year!
Seeding winter wheat.
We stopped by with some milkshakes for the guys.
A Harvest Moon
Aleah, let's run and go meet Daddy on his way to us!
Oh no Aleah! Turn around and run. FAST!
Ahhhh! He's gonna get us!
Hanging out by the water at an auction in Whitetail, MT.
Meet Charlie.
Sir Charles.
He's a really sweet dog. So friendly.
So good with the girls.
But, he's not the brightest ray of sunshine.
He's a few bricks short of a wall.
Hopefully it only takes this one encounter with a porcupine to know that they are not our friends!
Tony and Warren had one heck of a time removing all those quills!
Have I mentioned that I LOVE this little lady???
Papa and Nana threw Natalie an early birthday tea party before
they headed south to AZ for the winter.
Just a little bit of joy as she received her first set of legos!
Digging out Daddy and Craig's old legos.
Note Tony's tie. We all dressed up fancy for the tea party.
She's a risk taker.
She's brave.
And she's a bit clueless at times! :)
Sunday night snuggles!
And we officially have an OVERLOAD of LEGOS!
Natalie's birthday gift from mom and dad! It'll stay inside until this spring, and then we'll hang it on the swing set. Great fun inside during the cold winter months though!
Happy 5th Birthday breakfast! We LOVE you so much Natalie Grace!
Finally we have enough snow to go sledding!!
I'm so thankful for a heated shop so that I can work like projects like this one during the winter months. Our kitchen table needs some TLC, so here it goes!!!
They were so excited to get to sled.
She's finished. Just in time for Thanksgiving!
:)
The Hohlen's arrive!!!
Late Birthday for Natalie, early Birthday for Tony and Aleah, and early Christmas for all of us.
That is a smile of PURE JOY!!
That is a different version of pure joy!!! So cute!
Hello Kitty cake, at your request!
Time for a winter wonderland walk.
Thanksgiving Day 2014
We were so excited to have the Huse family join us for a day full of food, family, friends, and FUN!
More sledding fun. This got a little rowdier than when I pull my girls.
Reason why?
Two words: Grandpa John.
LOVE these two! SO SO SO HAPPY that they could come visit!
Natalie, me, and Mimi out on the sled!
Can't have Thanksgiving weekend without a little clay pigeon shooting!
My mom was excited to help us decorate for Christmas. She hasn't been here at Christmas to see our decor before, so why not! Let me tell you something. She was a work horse! The decorations were all up in one day. That is an amazing feat. When I do it by myself, its usually a week long process.
Love to see the excitement for Christmas through the eyes of my girlies!
Crazies!
Wonder who they get that from????
