I could have guessed this was going to happen.
Last night I posted about Natalie's favorite things.
Well this morning while laying in bed with she and Daddy, I overheard a conversation they had. None of her favorite things were the same as what she came up with last night.
Daddy: "Natalie, what is your favorite color?"
Natalie, as she throws her feet up in the air and looks at her toenail polish: "Orange."
Daddy: "What about your favorite food?"
Natalie, after a bit of a pause: "Meat."
Daddy: "And what about your favorite thing that God made?"
Natalie: "The cross."
So young. So beautiful. So loved!

These are a few of my SABORITE things...
On our bike ride tonight the girls were a bit catty. While riding I can't do much but turn my head and give a little holler here and there...I'm not stopping unless there are tears. Well, my little hollers weren't working so I decided to strike up a conversation.
It started by asking Natalie to look around and tell me all the things God has made that is around us.
"The sun, wheat, rocks, clouds, my hair, grass."
After she listed off some things I commented on how beautiful it all is and then moved on to the subject of favorites.
I asked her what her favorite thing that God made is.
She pondered this for a moment and said, 'My saborite (aka favorite) is water.'
I responded with a "why?" and she quickly shouted, "BECAUSE I CAN JUMP IN IT."
Some of my favorites that I learned about her tonight are that her favorite color is "rainbow, and pink, and yellow," and that her favorite food is "lifesabers!" (aka Lifesavers.)
Overall...good bike ride!
