Wow...her two years of life have FLOWN by!
My baby is no longer a baby anymore. :(
I have a hard time letting her grow up, but I have had to adjust quickly due to the big bun I'm currently baking in my oven...just 4 weeks away!
Anyways, for Aleah's actual birthday we didn't do too much. She didn't even get a single present from us...how pathetic we are sometimes! (We decided to wait for her Saturday party for that...partly because the 2-day shipping had turned into 6-day shipping for her gift!) In spite of no gift from us, she did have a brownie with candles and ice cream for dessert that evening. She blew out her candles probably 10 times...and wanted to keep doing it again and again! She did receive a visit from Papa and Nana along with a card, a card in the mail from Great-Gma Colleen, and tons of birthday phone calls. In fact, she got enough phone calls that by the end of the night she was totally talked out and wanted nothing to do with the phone, which is rather unusual for her!
