By golly...

...it has been quiet some time since I've updated anyone on our whereabouts or well-being.

Harvest went very well and it is nice to have Tony home. But, school is in full swing now, and I have been the one that is rarely seen around the house due to volleyball and other commitments.

As nice as the farmer/teacher lifestyle can be when it comes to being able to make family time and such, the mix of the two occupations isn't always the greatest. Tony's busy time is my down time, and his down time is my busy time. We really haven't seen much of each other these past few months. Our new neighbors in town think that I am just a figment of his imagination. As soon as volleyball season is over, hopefully we'll finally get to meet.

So, what's new?? The Man Hut! (Or our new garage.) Tony has been keeping busy with it, and I must say that things are coming along very nicely. The cement pour was a success, as we've been aided by Tony's father through it all. We beat the snow and had an actual working garage door not too long ago. The shingles are on, the siding is going up, and we just picked out the NovaBrik for the lower front half of the garage, and someday the house as well.

I have anywhere from 2-4 weeks left of volleyball, depending on how we do. From there, my life will slow down a bit, and I'll actually be able to see some of our friends, and spend time with my talented better half!

Parent-teacher conferences, 2 games, Halloween...it will be a fast but fun week.
