July 2014

What fun it was to get together with good Lustre friends again for the 4th of July!

The men taking inventory of the fireworks stash, and talking 'farmin,' as usual.

Happy 4th of July!!!

Ready...

March...Two, three, four.

Storm clouds moving in from the northwest.

Sometimes dress up clothes and pretend undergarments don't mix well.

Speaking of modesty....we've got a ways to go! :)

Natalie ready to head to the field.  She's got her lunch and water bottle in tow.

Fun hairdos!

Time for a nap out on the water.

We spent a fair amount of time swimming in the local 'Zerbe' pool.
So thankful for their friendship!

That scowl.  Can't get enough of it!

Aleah found a vintage life vest she was pumped to wear around.

Oh this goofball.  She is a FISH!

So fun to have Regan come and stay with us.  Blessed by her presence in our lives!

Time for a swim break!

Now its time for Janae to visit.  Back to the Zerbe pool we go!

Maycie's first swim in Fort Peck.  She wasn't too thrilled with me!!

I love listening to my girls play together.
On this particular day they were adament in getting leaves off this little tree.
Natalie tried to climb it.  No luck.

Then she ran and jumped off the big rock to get as high as possible.
Fail.

"C'mon Aleah!  You try!"  Still no luck!

They called to me in frustration.  I told them to keep trying.
When I peeked out again, here is Natalie lifting Aleah thinking then they'd get the job done.
Sadly that got them nowhere.

And then this...
Natalie dropped Aleah right on her hinder out of frustration.
I suppose its time for mommy to finally intervene.
Oops.  Sorry Aleah!

Date night for Daddy and three of his four girls.  He and I took the girls to Bergie's for supper and ice cream, and then to "Shrek, the Musical" at Fort Peck Summer Theatre.

Tubing with the kiddos!

Somehow we ended up with all the Runner kids on our way into shore this night.
These two were passed out under my seat all snuggled up before we made it to the dock.

Happy Birthday Mr. Noah!

Remember the indoor garden that was overgrown in my living room back in the May post???
I'm sad to say this particular hail storm destroyed the majority of that crop!

Playing in her gravel as daddy prepares his road grader in the back so he can play in his gravel!
