While back home in Nebraska we were faced with an intense snowstorm. Usually Christmas Day has us outside playing in the snow in the afternoon...but this year was different. We were actually snowed in on Christmas Day, and it wasn't until the afternoon of the 27th that we were able to get out and fully enjoy the snow. We went out on the 26th for a bit, but it was still snowing, and the snow was too fluffy for playing in (not snowball snow). On the 27th the sun came out and hardend up the snow a bit, just enough so we could enjoy it! Here are some photos of that afternoon.
Some photos from the 26th.
Carrie and I bundled up for the cold.
It was still cold enough out that ice formed on Tony's eyes and beard.
Tony trying to get some air. The snow was way too soft and didn't pack down at all. Just pure fluff.
Finally the sun came out. Here are some pictures from the 27th.
Brian getting air over some packed snow!
Now it was Kevin's turn.

Tony out blowing snow. The drifts were huge!
