November and Natalie's 4th Birthday!

October went by so fast, we didn't even get a chance to carve a jack-o-lantern until November 1st.
This was totally Tony and girls' project.  I had nothing to do with it!

See!  It wasn't long and he had power tools out.
"Why work harder when you can work smarter?" has always been his motto!

Happy with their jack-o-lantern.

Now on to Billings, in a semi truck!

What a hunk!
I love him!

Reason for our trip to Billings???
To support our dear friends, Seth and Virginia at Seth's ordination.
He is now Rev. Runner!

While in Billings we did a little bit of shopping for our Operation Christmas Child box.

This was our first time doing OCC and the girls really loved the idea of it.
I get so giddy to see them grasping the idea of sharing God's love with others more and more as they are growing and maturing.

Finally, we have enough snow to go sledding!!!!
These two couldn't wait to get out in it to play!
I'd think one of them had more fun than the other, but if you ask Natalie, she had a blast!!!

And this might be why!  Daddy came to the rescue with the side-by-side to pull them on their sleds!

This was another one of their attempts before Daddy came along with the side-by-side.
Natalie -- "Aleah, we can tie a string to Saggy Maggie's collar and she can pull us!"

My daughters are such wonderful helpers, at just the age of 2.75 and days shy of 4.
Here is Aleah feeding Maycie.

And Natalie's helping me out too!

FINALLY...she thought this day would never come...
NATALIE GRACE IS 4!!!!
She woke up to a decorated kitchen and the special birthday plate for breakfast, with a spread of gifts on the table as well.

After some phone calls from the Nebraskans, we got to Skype with the part-time Arizonans.
They even said "cheese" for this picture! :)

Her two favorite gifts:
High-heeled shoes that light up, and an Ariel doll that sings.

Look at how they incorporate Maycie into their playtime.
She cooperates about half the time, and this was one of those moment!

Any idea what this is????
Or who's head it is from???
It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but Miss Natalie has a small chunk of bangs
in the front that are about 5 inches shorter than the others.
We've already had a talk about what scissors are for (paper only) but I guess it takes a little self-discovery for some kiddos, right?
(I might have cut Brian's hair when I was 3 or 4 and hid it behind the bathroom door.
If I recall it was quite a big chuck too!)

The girls went to their friend Ava's "Rockstar" birthday party a few days after Natalie's birthday.  They came home with these shades, boas, and microphones.  Let's just say meals along with many other things have been a bit more lively and flashy nowadays!

Natalie really wanted to go bowling with her family for her birthday after church on Sunday.
We invited a few friends to join us!

Ready.  Aim.  Roll.
There were a few more strikes than I thought there would be!

Time for cake???
Try brownie fruit pizza!
YUM!

Love these kids and their bowling shoes!

Off to Grandpa and Grandma Fasts to share some fruit pizza with them.

We LOVE having them in Glasgow as a place to spend time while in town!

And now time for a little game of "Spot It," thanks to the Runners!

Thanksgiving Eve means food preparation time.
Nothing like having a Korean help you peel potatoes that are as large as his foot!
Thanks for the help Jake!

Natalie showing off her big one!

Thanks to Gabby and Jake, we peeled a total of 19lbs of potatoes!!!

The kids table at Duane and Shirley's for Thanksgiving leftovers at supper.

Gabby and Jake were FULL and dreading basketball practice following their day of food.
