Energizer Bunny

It is amazing to see how much Natalie has grown in this past year.  She is like our little Energizer Bunny...she keeps going and going and going!

Today is Jan. 1st, 2011, *(HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!) and she is 13.5 months old.
Some of her newest tricks to date:

-she can tell you what Santa, a cow, a kitty cat, and a ducky all say.
-will blink her eyes when you ask her to...I'm going to have to get a video of this...priceless!
-knows where her belly is, ears, eyes, and hair/head.
-will show you where she wears a hat, socks, and shoes.
-knows what getting out the winter coat and hat and mittens means.
-knocks on the door when daddy is in the garage getting his coveralls off to come into the house.
-can show you where we keep her snow boots.
-claps her hands whenever we turn on a football game, and can do 'Touchdown'.
-will go to the kitchen drawer that has bottles in it and want me to get out a bottle so she can feed her baby doll and teddy bear.
-is learning to eat off of a plate in her high chair, and loves to try and use a spoon or fork.  (We're definitely only in stage one of this skill...but its fun to see her wanting to be a big girl like mom and dad.)
-will reach out to hold onto our fingers when we take hands to pray as a family before each meal.
-loves to go up and down the stairs walking while holding onto someone's fingers.
-is climbing on furniture like a monkey...up and down constantly.
-spent her first night away from both dad and mom last night (New Year's Eve)...she stayed at Papa and Nana Fast's home.

I'm sure I'm missing some other things, but this is what I can come up with right now.
We are so proud of our little Energizer Bunny and thank God for the blessings she has brought us and will continue to through the years.  WOW...13.5 months...and to think a new baby will be joining us any day now...I'm sure Natalie will be SO 'helpful.'
