Today, the 16th of September, our first little blessing from above, Natalie Grace, is ten months old. I am blown away at how quickly this lady is growing.
At ten months, Natalie is:
-strictly eating table food (we have yet to discover a food that she doesn't like)
-takes a formula bottle 3-5 times a day
-wakes once during the night for a bottle, if that
-is crawling EVERYWHERE
-can go up stairs with ease...not down though!
-walks around furniture with ease
-pulls herself up on the furniture or mom/dad and then lets go to "stand" on her own (she can stand for quite some time with a wide stance)
-has taken 2-3 steps between mom and dad (she does better when she has a toy or something in her hands...otherwise she is reaching forward towards where she is going and falls forward)
-still LOVES baths
-plays 'roll/toss/pass/bounce' the ball back and forth
-laughs at herself
-waves "hi" and "bye"
-knows who "dada" is
-understands the words: puppy dog or Buddy, birdies, dada, drink, bath, bottle, ball, duckie
-holds a phone to her ear
-sleeps with 'duckie' and a pacifier
-has two teeth on the bottom, and as we speak is working on two more bottom teeth (poor little lady is miserable)
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get a video of Natalie walking because it is usually at home between Tony and I. Fortunately, Nana DeeDee was able to get a video of her while we were up at the farm for dinner last Saturday night. Click on the below link and you can see her in action.
